We welcome, invent, create, accompany, and entertain you. We are your team led by host Alex Hannemann, who strives to achieve new culinary heights every day. Our kitchen creates menus for you that pay contemporary homage to traditional Swiss cuisine. We also recommend and serve the perfect wine accompaniment from our award-winning wine cellar. An excellent combination that must be experienced.

The restaurant
The Blaue Ente is the neighborhood restaurant with lots of charm, seasonal cuisine and exquisite wines in Zurich's Seefeld district. We put our heart and soul into our work and enjoy taking culinary leaps into the air - without losing our down-to-earth attitude.
Our cuisine is seasonal-helvetic, generous and cosmopolitan, simple and straightforward. Wine is our soul food and comes mainly from Switzerland. Sometimes from elsewhere. Our oenophile thirst for discovery means we are always exploring new terroirs.
Whether for a simple lunch dish or an extensive dinner. The Blaue Ente is up for anything.
Rent the Blaue Ente
The Blaue Ente restaurant, the Privé and the Pizzeria Blu can be hired for banquets and events. The restaurant seats up to 120 guests, while the pizzeria offers a more exclusive atmosphere with 30 to 50 seats.
